About Martha

Martha Ana Lopez is a lyric coloratura soprano, classically-trained pianist and educator. An avid art song enthusiast, she performs nationally in recital and has released four recordings.

Martha has performed with Opera Tampa, New Century Opera, Saint Petersburg Opera, North Port Symphony and the Pops Orchestra of Sarasota.

In the spring of 2022, Martha returned to the Voice Faculty at the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota, where she served from 2007 to 2019. Martha is the Director of Music at Church of the Nativity in Sarasota where she serves as organist, pianist and choir director.  In addition, she maintains a private voice and piano studio.
